In the home it’s also a useful power source for electric fences and charging small power tools. The six layer construction of each panel, delivers performance and strength. The 5W panel if fitted with a blocking diode to prevent reverse drain and is supplied withal the necessary cable (5m), connectors and detailed installation instructions. This panel can be installed using standard aluminium, premium PVU or aero aluminium brackets. PV Logic rigid solar panels have a 10-year frame integrity warranty and a 20-year cell warranty (cell performance warranty states that at 20 years the cell output will be no less than 80% of new performance values – i.e. the cell degradation rate will be no greater than 20% in 20 years).
