Plastimo Telescopic Danbuoy Kit - Includes Plastimo Danbuoy, Light & Stainless Steel Mounting Bracket

A robust Telescopic danbuoy which has become a best seller due to its durablity and conforming with the ISAF/ORC racing regulations.

The Plastimo Offshore Danbuoy features a telescopic GRP pole with 1/4 twist grip fastening to reach extended height, a stainless steel weight keeps the danbuoy upright while the PVC float (360mm x 180mm dia) gives adequate buoyancy and attached to the top section of pole is a man-over-board red and yellow flag (450mm x 350mm).

When not in use the flag is rolled up and clipped to the pole. 

The Danbuoy can be fitted with the optional light kit which when fitted,  is situated 2.30 m above the waterline and powered by a 9 V battery.

• When the Dan buoy is thrown into the water, the lanyard detaches the clip from the light, which then activates automatically the light.
• To fit the light to the Dan buoy, simply push the bayonet fitting into the top of the Dan buoy.
• A stainless steel holder is also available with pushpit mounting clips.
