Product Description

This kit contains all the necessary components required for the installation of a standard size transducer (38mm), inside the hull of a vessel constructed of glass fibre.

The tube is cut to the "dead rise" of the hull to allow the transducer to be installed vertically and without interference. The tube is then set in the hull using the filler supplied, once filler is set the tube can be filled with oil also supplied and the transducer positioned with the additional cap to hold in place.

Although the thickness of the hull is not generally critical, some loss of deep water performance may be experienced.

This kit is not recommended for use on glass fibre hulls over 19mm (3/4”) in thickness, nor is it for use on aluminium, steel or wooden hulls.
