The 16 mm is Harken’s smallest block. It is perfect for small synthetic control lines found on high-tech dinghies. The patented bearing system uses stainless steel balls in a captive grooved race. The new 404 HL uses an O-ring to keep the line in the sheave during intermittent loading.
The new 404HL offers double the working load (226kg) of the existing 404 block.
Use for dinghy control lines, spinnaker pole trip lines, outhauls, downhauls, cunninghams, traveller controls, halyards on prams and big boat leech lines.
