Put simply, this is our best selling passive radar reflector, manufactured in a robust polyethylene case, the EM230 model is suitable for medium to large size vessels 9 -15mtr and can be seen fitted to many leisure boats around the world. Often seen mounted on yacht masts using the stainless steel brackets the EM230 is also available for deck, A frame and cabin mounting. For anyone repacing an old Firdell Blipper we now offer the EM230BR which will fit directly to existing Blipper mast brackets.

Having also been allocated a NATO stock number the Echomax EM230 is used by the UK Military Forces and others throughout the world including the US Navy and has been successfully tested by QinetiQ to ISO 8729-1999, and meets RORC,ORC,ISAF 2012/13 and WCC requirements of 10sq/m. The EM230 has achieved the Ships Wheel Mark certification for life boats and rescue craft as from December 2012.
